(1) Placed under the authority of a Head of Department, the Regional Surveys and Statistics Service is responsible for:

• the preparation and monitoring of the implementation of regional statistical surveys on livestock, fisheries, aquaculture, animal and fisheries industries and veterinary services.
• the collection and production of regional statistics in the fields of livestock, fisheries, veterinary services, animal and fisheries industries.
