(1) Placed under the authority of a Regional Delegate, the Regional Delegation for Livestock, Fisheries and Animal Industries is responsible for:

• the coordination and animation of the activities of all the services established in the Region;
• the coordination and mobilization of resources and actors in the livestock, fisheries, animal and fisheries industries;
• management of human, material and financial resources;
• the updating of the epidemiological map;
• the execution and monitoring of investment projects;
• centralization, consolidation and exploitation of information and statistical data from the Departmental Delegations;
• monitoring the implementation of priority programmes;
• monitoring the implementation of activities that have benefited from a delegation of competences in the areas of livestock, fisheries and the animal and
  fisheries industries;
• monitoring the implementation of extension activities in the areas of livestock, fisheries and the animal and fisheries industries;
• the implementation of regulations and standards in the areas of livestock, fisheries, animal and fisheries industries;
• the implementation of measures aimed at improving the quantity and quality of production and yields in the livestock and fisheries sectors;
• monitoring the promotion of investments in livestock and fisheries at the regional level, in conjunction with the decentralized services of
  the Ministry in charge of the economy, planning and land use and the Ministry of Mines, Industry and Technological Development
  ;
• the veterinary health inspectorate;
• the production of periodic activity reports;
• relations with the various actors involved in the livestock, fisheries and animal and fisheries industries;
• monitoring and controlling the application of legislation and regulations relating to the exercise of professions and activities in livestock farming, fisheries and the animal and fisheries industries.

(2) It shall include:

• The Regional Service for the Development of Animal Production and Industries
• The Regional Service for Fisheries, Aquaculture and Fisheries Industries
• The Regional Veterinary Services Service
• The Regional Pasture and Pastoral Hydraulics Service
• The Regional Service for Surveys and Statistics
• The Regional General Affairs Department
