(1) Under the authority of a Head of Centre, the Head of the Fisheries Centre is responsible for:

• the supervision and organization of fishermen;
• the issuance or control of documents accompanying products of fishery origin;
• monitoring compliance with fisheries regulations;
• monitoring of landings of fishery products;
• the collection of fisheries statistics.
