Wildlife Health, Non-Conventional Livestock and Bee Health Service.
(1) Placed under the authority of a Head of Department, the Department of Wildlife Health, Non-Conventional Livestock and Bees is responsible for:
- monitoring the application of regulations on the health of wildlife, non-conventional farm animals and bees in relation with the administrations concerned;
- monitoring of surveillance activities, diagnosis and notification of diseases of wildlife, bees and non-conventional livestock;
- monitoring the prevention and control of diseases of wild fauna, non-conventional farmed animals and bees, in conjunction with the administrations concerned;
- participation in the development of standards for the installation of farms and establishments for the exploitation of non-conventional farm animals and bees, in conjunction with the administrations concerned;
- participation in the development and monitoring of the application of standards for the management and protection of natural and artificial biotopes of wildlife, non-conventional livestock and bees, in conjunction with the administrations concerned;
- the popularization of documentation on the health of wildlife, non-conventional animals and bees.
