(1) Placed under the authority of a Head of Department, the Pasture and Pastoral Land Development Service is responsible for:

  • participation in the land tenure security of pastoral activities, in liaison with the administrations concerned;
  • monitoring the implementation of pastoral development projects;
  • the certification of fodder seeds;
  • support for the prevention and management of conflictual land situations in terms of pastures;
  • the preparation, execution and monitoring of cattle track and transhumance projects;
  • the preparation and permanent updating of maps of animal fodder resources;
  • the operation of a geographical system of livestock farming;
