Sub-Directorate of Personnel, Pay and Pensions
(1) Placed under the authority of a Deputy Director, the Sub-Directorate of Personnel, Pay and Pensions is responsible for:
- the centralization and permanent updating of the physical files of the Ministry’s personnel and pay;
- the preparation of measures for the allocation of staff within the Ministry, in accordance with the organic framework;
- monitoring the careers of staff;
- the development of the sectoral plan for the training of the Ministry’s staff;
- the preparation of personnel management acts;
- the investigation of disciplinary cases of staff;
- the preparation of disciplinary files for staff;
- social assistance to staff and support for associative and cultural life;
- the operation of computer applications for the integrated management of State personnel and pay;
- pension management;
- the preparation of pay items and pay accessories;
- the entry and validation of the balance of the costs of recruitment, promotion, appointment, promotion of executives and grades;
- the entry and validation of the balance of allowances and various bonuses;
- the entry and validation of the balance of family benefits;
- the updating of the balance file;
- the preparation and settlement of deeds granting pension rights and life annuities after approval by the competent services;
- the preparation, settlement and signing of deeds granting pensions for accidents at work and occupational diseases after approval by the competent services.
