(1) Under the authority of a Head of Department, the Budget and Equipment Department is responsible for:

• the preparation and execution of the budget;
• monitoring the implementation of the financial commitments of the central services;
• advice and assistance in the acquisition of equipment.

(2) It shall include

• the Budget Office;
• the Materiel Office.
