(1) Placed under the authority of a Head of Cell, the Translation Unit is responsible for:

• the routine translation of documents;
• translation quality control;
• the creation of a terminological data bank on livestock, fisheries and the animal and fisheries industries.

(2) It comprises, in addition to the Head of the Unit, two (02) Assistant Research Officers, in charge of French and English translations respectively.
