(1) Placed under the authority of a Head of Cell, the Cooperation Cell is responsible for:

• the drafting and monitoring of conventions and agreements concerning livestock, fisheries, aquaculture and the development of animal and fisheries industries;
• the identification and monitoring of technical and financial cooperation actions with national and international partners;
• the promotion and monitoring of partnership relations with governmental and non-governmental bodies dealing with livestock, fisheries and the animal and fisheries industries;
• participation in the search for funding and technical expertise required for the Ministry’s projects and programs;
• the establishment and management of a database on technical and financial partners;
• participation in the preparation of all promotional events relating to the activities of the livestock, fisheries, aquaculture, animal and fisheries industries sub-sector;
• the development of the strategy for the promotion of investments in the livestock, fisheries, aquaculture and animal and fisheries industries sub-sector, in conjunction with the administrations concerned;
• support for the establishment of an incentive framework for the development of livestock, fisheries, aquaculture, animal and fisheries industries.
