Head of the Studies, Cooperation Planning and Statistics Division

The Technical Advisors carry out all the missions entrusted to them by the Minister.

Under the authority of a Head of Division, the Studies, Planning, Cooperation and Statistics Division is responsible for:

  • the development, planning, monitoring and evaluation of programmes and projects in the fields of livestock, fisheries, aquaculture and the animal and fisheries industries;
  • the formulation and monitoring of the implementation of development strategies for the livestock, fisheries and animal and fisheries industries;
  • the coordination of prospective studies aimed at the development of the livestock, fisheries and animal industries;
  • the development and updating of the macroeconomic framework for the livestock, fisheries and animal and fisheries industries sub-sector, in conjunction with the administrations concerned;
  • carrying out studies with a view to renewing animal, fisheries and fish resources, in conjunction with the Ministry of Research and Innovation;
  • the promotion of investment, livestock and fisheries farms, in liaison with the administrations concerned;
  • the coordination of technical and financial cooperation actions with national and international partners as well as the search for funding and technical expertise required for the Ministry’s projects and programs;
  • support for the establishment of an incentive framework for the development of the various livestock, fisheries and animal industries sectors in conjunction with the other administrations concerned;
  • the identification, development, monitoring and evaluation of agreements and conventions with national and international partners, in liaison with the administrations concerned;
  • developing partnerships with the private sector and civil society;
  • the collection, production, analysis and use of statistical data on livestock, fisheries and the animal and fisheries industries;
  • Carrying out surveys and censuses in the fields of livestock, fisheries and the animal and fisheries industries, in conjunction with the bodies concerned.
  • The constitution of a bank of projects to be financed in the livestock, fisheries and animal and fisheries industries.
