The Minister for Livestock, Fisheries and Animal Industries, Dr Taiga, made a working visit to the Littoral region on Tuesday 22 June 2021.

The aim of the visit was to promote import substitution in the sub-sector, to showcase Made in Cameroon products and to encourage Cameroonian promoters to produce quality and quantity goods. He took advantage of his stay in the region to visit four (04) new projects in the poultry and dairy production sub-sector. Dr Taiga visited BONNECHAIR SARL, PROVENDERIE SOCAV/CAFCO, STE LECLAIRE and STE GOLFECH, projects involved in the production and processing of poultry, fish, livestock and dairy products.

At the end of the working visit, MINEPIA expressed its satisfaction with the Promoters’ ability to apply innovative technologies and praised their efforts to ensure food security.
