As part of a mission to encourage private companies involved in poultry production in Cameroon, the Minister of Livestock, Fisheries and Animal Industries has been criss-crossing the Centre region since yesterday, Monday 28 June 2021.

Yesterday, Dr Taiga visited new poultry production sites in the region. The tour took him in turn to Tchimelen in the Soa district, Ekoko 2 in Mefou Afamba and Mbokoulou in the Yaoundé 7 commune.

This Tuesday, MINEPIA will be visiting Batchenga and then Obala, again to tell producers that the poultry industry needs to produce more and better, with the possibility of exporting surpluses.

The next stop on this tour is the Western region.
