THE CNFZV OF MAROUA DELIVERS A NEW BATCH OF PROFESSIONALS
The solemn ceremony of handing over the parchments to the winners was held on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 under the chairmanship of Mr. JAJI MANU GIDADO, Secretary General of the Ministry of Livestock, Fisheries and Animal Industries (MINEPIA) accompanied by Mr. MAMOUDOU MAHOUNDE, Inspector General of Services for the Far North Region and many administrative and traditional personalities of the Region.
After two years of theoretical and practical training, the laureates of 107 women and 230 men from the National Center for Zootechnical and Veterinary Training of Maroua can rejoice in the skills acquired. Three hundred and thirty-seven (337) students proudly received their certificate of achievement. They are able to face the job market.
In concrete terms, this involves:
– Seventy-four (74) livestock technicians;
– Thirty-nine (39) assistant livestock technicians;
– Eighty-two (82) veterinary nurses;
– Sixty-two (62) assistant veterinary nurses;
– Seventy-nine (79) agropastoral advisors.
It should be recalled that MINEPIA ensures the supervision of three CNFZVs who train free auditors. The CNFZV of Foumban has the particularity of training, in addition to the above-mentioned sectors, in fishing and aquaculture professions.
