CDPM: Account Session Validated
The Board of Directors of the Maritime Fisheries Development Fund( CDPM) has adopted the administrative and financial account for 2024.
The 69th Ordinary session of the Board of Directors, which was presided at by the Minister of Livestock Fisheries and Animal Industries,Board Chair of the Maritime Fisheries Development Fund examined different activities to support fisheries and aquaculture. Some of the activities included the surveillance of fishing activities, supply of equipment such as boats and engines to actors, training of fish farmers and transformation.
PULLCA activities were equally presented. Within the framework of the project,the Maritime Fisheries Development Fund has acquired kits to promote above the group fishing,ponds and cage culture. The kits will be distributed in three regions where the activity will be carried out. Five hundred beneficiaries will receive the kits in the East,Adamawa and Far North Region.
CDPM’s budget had a reduction as a result of the activities of PIISAH.
Other activities CDPM participated in is the organisation of the inauguration ceremony of the Youpwe fish market,the distribution of fishing equipment to fishermen in Kribi and the distribution of floating cages to augment the production capacity of different actors such as Fish and Co., Mavecam and Mungo Fish Farm.
