On 25 May 2022, MINEPIA’s aquaculture sub-directorate organised a workshop to discuss fish feed and its impact on the performance of aquaculture production in Cameroon.

The aim is to promote the development of the sector by removing constraints linked to the availability and accessibility of fish feed. The aim was to examine the availability and prices of fish feed sold in Cameroon, as well as the quality of this feed.

The workshop was attended by pre-selected ASMI investors, feed importers, local feed producers and fish and fry producers. The workshop was chaired by the Secretary General of MINEPIA, JAJI MANU GIDADO, representing the MINISTER.
