Dr. TAÏGA visited the facilities of the company “NYAT SARL” in MINEMEKOUMD near NGUELEMENDOUKA in the HAUT NYONG Department of the EAST region of Cameroon. This organization intends to play its full part in the implementation process of the Integrated Agro-pastoral and Fisheries Import-Substitution Project (PIISAH), initiated by the head of state. Mr. NYAT’s structure focuses its priorities on promoting a diverse economy that values Livestock and fish farming in general. Established in 2022, this project has set up a professional center for the incubation of youth through fish farming, feed production, hatchery, poultry farming, small ruminants, quail, turkeys, and day-old chicks… This project aims to produce 8 tons of table fish, 200,000 fish ponds, and 600,000 fry per year according to the promoter’s declaration. A noble ambition.
