Dr. TAIGA inaugurated this Monday in Maroua the ultra-modern hatchery set up by the government to support the livestock sector in the northern regions. This hatchery, which has a capacity of 57,600 eggs, a weekly hatching capacity of 19,200 chicks  and hens  that produce 210 to 225 eggs per year, cost the government more than 100 million FCA francs.

The ceremony, which is attended by the Governors of the Adamoua, North and Far North regions, is coupled with the work of the 17th ordinary session of the Board of Directors of the Livestock Development Fund for the North, the CDEN, and then he will launch the training of more than 250 women in pig farming, which will be attended by Senator Françoise PUENE.
