MINEPIA received a delegation from the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) led by Mr Sabiu Awal from the Abuja Regional Office in Nigeria, which covers 8 countries including Cameroon. Mr Sabiu Awal said he had come to enquire about the progress of projects financed by the IDB, in particular the LIFIDEP (Livestock and Fisheries Development Project) which covers the North-West region. Dr Taïga assured his host that the project would continue to be implemented, despite the prevailing security situation. The Minister also briefed his host on the Livestock Marketing and Infrastructure Project (PD_COBIE), which is currently being implemented. The project will get underway in January, Dr Taïga said.
