Israeli Agency Consolidates Partnership with MINEPIA
The Israeli Agency for International Development Cooperation,( MASHAV) led by the Head of Agency, S.E Eynat SHLEIN has discussed the vast opportunity for cooperation between Israel and Cameroon.
During an audience with the Minister of Livestock Fisheries and Animal Industries, Dr. Taiga the two had a lengthy discussion on partnership and the needs of the country.
Possibilities of cooperation in aquaculture and dairy farming were elaborated. The Israeli Agency Head did not hesitate to appraise Cameroon’s potential. The potential would be brought to good use by bringing experts to Cameroon and admitting many Cameroonians in training courses in Israel. She was poised to get the right production companies to help partner with the development of the country.
The Israeli Agency for International Development Cooperation was launched in 1957. It shares the global responsibility of achieving sustainable development and social equity through empowering and equipping communities in the developing world with tools and skills to overcome poverty and obstacles to development. Its program is exclusively based on technical assistance and the transferring of accumulated Israeli know-how, technologies and expertise through consultancies, capacity building and training activities both in Israel and partner countries. Capacity building, training,tech support and consultation is done in the areas of agriculture, animal husbandry and livestock production, aquaculture and apiculture.
