(1) Placed under the authority of a Head of Post, the Veterinary Health Inspection Post is responsible for:

• the inspection of live animals and foodstuffs of animal and fishery origin for import and export;
• certification of documents relating to products of animal and fishery origin for import, export and transit;
• food inspection at the level of industrial slaughterhouses.
