Veterinary Health Inspection Service
(1) Placed under the authority of a Head of Department, the Veterinary Health Inspection Service is responsible for:
- monitoring and monitoring the application of veterinary health inspection regulations;
- monitoring and popularizing standardized veterinary health inspection procedures;
- monitoring the application of quality standards in veterinary health inspection;
- the examination of applications for authorisation to create and authorisation to open establishments for the exploitation of products of animal and fishery origin, in conjunction with the administrations concerned;
- the popularization of scientific and technical documentation in the field of veterinary health and public health inspection;
- monitoring the implementation of projects in the field of veterinary health inspection, veterinary public health and consumer protection;
- monitoring issues relating to veterinary public health and consumer protection;
- the monitoring of consumer interest associations;
- participation in the collection of statistical data relating to veterinary health inspection;
