As part of the activities marking the celebration of the 36th International Women’s Day, a football match between women from the Ministry of Livestock, Fisheries and Animal Industries (MINEPIA) and those from the General Census of Agriculture and Livestock (RGAE) took place at the Presidential Guard Stadium in Melen on Friday 5 March 2021. The match took place under the watchful eye of the Director of General Affairs at MINEPIA, Mr Oumarou Ousmanou, representing the Minister of Livestock, Fisheries and Animal Industries, and the President of AFEMEPIA, Mrs Ngo Ongla Annie Claire, the Director of Fisheries, Aquaculture and Fishing Industries, Dr Mimbang Guy Irene and the Head of the Studies, Planning, Cooperation and Statistics Division, Dr Kemgang Henry Serge.

After a penalty in the first half and 3 goals in the second half, the match ended 4-1 in favour of the MINEPIA women. They won a trophy and a cash prize.
