INSTALLATION AND DECORATION CEREMONY AT MINEPIA
Dr Taïga decorates 10 people and confers duties on newly appointed staff
The Minister for Livestock, Fisheries and Animal Industries, Dr Taiga, has officially installed the newly appointed staff at MINEPIA. The ceremony, which was held on 14 October 2022 at the Djeuga Palace Hotel in Yaoundé, also involved the decoration of deserving staff.
During the ceremony, Dr Taiga asked the newly appointed staff to be meticulous, impartial, alert and far-sighted in the performance of their duties. He added that their promotion was based on merit and that much was therefore expected of them. While stressing the need to develop a synergy between their departments and economic operators, he paid particular attention to economic operators involved in fisheries, livestock and their value chains.
Among those seated were Service Inspector No. 3 and the Director of General Affairs. Dr Taiga invited Service Inspector No. 3 to use his experience in projects (AFOP) and decentralised services to improve control in the services.
The Director of General Affairs was asked to be meticulous and proactive in processing documents. The Minister recommended that he transfer his experience to the various administrations (MINEPAT, MINAT) that he has served. He congratulated the recipients of the various medals, adding that they were being honoured for their service to the nation.
It should be noted that medals were awarded to recipients of national honours on 20 May.
