On October 5, 2022, Her Excellency Patricia Maria Oliveira Lima paid a courtesy visit to the Minister of Livestock, Fisheries and Animal Industries, Dr. Taïga, in Yaoundé. Newly arrived in Cameroon, the Brazilian diplomat came to take the temperature of the cooperation files linking her country to Cameroon’s livestock, fisheries and animal industries sub-sector. The level of cooperation between Cameroon and Brazil is very good. Our two countries are very close. We share points of technical and cultural cooperation”. During the discussions, the issue of fish was also on the menu. The Minister’s host reassured him that fishing would be one of the areas in which experiences would be shared.
