Dr TAÏGA, Minister of Livestock, Fisheries and Animal Industries, was granted an audience with the Tunisian Ambassador to the Republic of Cameroon on Thursday November 10, 2022. His Excellency Karim BEN BECHER was leading a delegation of economic operators from the “Taste Tunisia” consortium. This is a group of 13 companies incorporated under Tunisian law, operating in the agri-food sector, related industries and associated activities.

The Tunisian delegation came to discuss investment opportunities in Cameroon with MINEPIA. They are keen to forge partnership agreements with local companies in the aquaculture sector.

In addition to the ambassador, the delegation included Mr. MOKHTAR ZANNAD, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the consortium, Mr. FAYCAL HEBIRI, Executive Director of the consortium, and many other members.

After a short but fruitful exchange, it was with great enthusiasm that Dr TAÏGA’s guests left his ministerial department, not without expressing their complete satisfaction at the end of the meeting.
