On July 10, 2025, Dr. TAÏGA presided over the official handover ceremony of the keys of the LANAVET (National Veterinary Laboratory) in BOKLE-GAROUA. This structure was renovated and equipped by the Defense Reduction Agency & Cooperative Threat Reduction (DTRA-CTR) through USAID. This ceremony was attended by the internal and external active forces and elites of the Region led by the Governor of the Northern Region, Jean ABATE EDI’I. Minister TAÏGA thanked the partner on behalf of the Cameroonian government and prescribed proper use and especially appropriate maintenance to the management team of the National Veterinary Laboratory.
