The Minister of Livestock Fisheries and Animal Industries, Dr Taiga,has officially launched the vaccination campaign against rabies.This was done on the 28th of September 2020,a day set aside for action awareness against rabies,at the Chamber of Agriculture.
This year’s celebration was under the theme: End rabies; Collaborate and Vaccinate.
Part of activities included a round table conference which focused on the theme of this year’s world rabies day and an ssessment of rabies on humans.
A good number of pet owners converged at the venue to vaccinate their animals.
This same exercise takes place in all the ten regions of the country.
